Lawes Consulting Group was originally formed by Steven Lawes and Lee Spink in 2002. Through unprecedented growth and expansion we are now insurance market leaders encompassing divisions specialising in recruitment for the Broking, Underwriting, Claims & Adjusters, Actuarial, Reinsurance and Risk & Compliance sectors.

Originally starting from offices in St Johns Lane, London, we now have a permanent residence within The Lloyds building, the central hub of the Insurance World. Our National growth has led us to develop a network of offices throughout the UK & Globally. We are fully committed to our UK wide client base as well as assisting clients with Global expansion and International recruitment needs.

Our trusted reputation within the industry has been built upon our ethos which is to provide a proficient, confidential service with loyalty and dedication to candidates and clients alike. We have partnerships with a number of small private brokers, major broking groups, international insurers, claims & adjusters, underwriting agencies, syndicates, MGA's and many other companies operating within the Insurance arena in London, the UK and Globally.

All of our consultants have either extensive experience of working within the insurance industry or have been specifically trained both in house and externally in the field of insurance recruitment. Each consultant within the Lawes Group are Affiliates, Members or Fellows of the REC.

Alongside our consultant’s local knowledge and existing network, our specialist service means that your account can be fully serviced by both your dedicated Consultant and a full back office Mapping & Resource Team. Steven Lawes leads the MBO of DSL Insurance Personnel Established 1987, forming Lawes Insurance Recruitment.

Lee Spink becomes Director and Partner forming Lawes Consulting Group.

Our first London Market office opens at St Johns Lane EC1.

Regional Expansion, we open our first
regional office in Hertfordshire locatated
at the Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club.

The key appointment of Mark Leverington to National Sales Manager to head up national expansion. Lawes Consulting Group plan 100% growth in the next 5 years.
