A global broking organisation is offering an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience of managing Public Sector clients to lead a team and to grow an existing portfolio

The Company

Our client one of the worlds largest insurance broking organisations, respected in the market as a leader in the field of insurance and risk management.
The role exists within our clients specialist Public Sector division, which works with a range of public bodies including central and local government, NHS and health, housing associations, etc.
The business is one of the markets leading employers, offering serious remuneration as well as career prospects.

Your role

Leading a team of client facing Executives and Handlers you will personally take responsibility for managing and developing Public Sector accounts along with ownership for the strategy and growth of the overall portfolio for the North of England.
You will have responsibility for an established portfolio of clients from a range of Public Sector bodies, your responsibility will be to ensure client retention and acquisition through the provision of robust insurance and risk management programmes.
Acting as the face of the organisation, you will manage relationships with stakeholders at a range of institutions as well as purchasing consortiums and government agencies linked to them.
As you would expect from a global organisation, access to market leading products, rates and service is in place as well as full broking, claims and administrative support.

You

Ideally with experience of leading a team or a desire and the required skills to step up into a management role.
You will come from a client facing background, able to demonstrate a strong track record of winning and servicing business.
You will be comfortable dealing with Public Sector clients, with an understanding of their buying cycles and habits as well as the various frameworks and tender, RFI, RFQ processes that accompany clients of this nature.
ACII qualification or work towards is preferred, whilst a polished, professional approach is essential.
