Job title: Senior Commercial Account Handler
Salary: £40,000
Location: Chelmsford
OVERVIEW
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Client Adviser to join our Corporate Division team. As a Client Adviser, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Client Adviser Team Leader and/or Divisional Manager in achieving the division’s objectives and promoting our services to clients and the insurance market.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as Account Adviser for designated accounts while providing support to team members as needed.
- Drive business growth through existing client relationships and new opportunities.
- Adhere to company procedures and service standards to ensure compliance.
- Collaborate with the Claims department on relevant cases.
- Accurately prepare client registers and policy documentation.
- Collect necessary information to secure Insurance Act-compliant terms.
- Fulfill FCA responsibilities and follow internal procedures diligently.
- Address and manage complaints in accordance with the Group Complaints Handling Procedure.
- Provide monthly updates to the Client Adviser Team Leader
- Oversee workloads, delegate tasks effectively, and meet reporting deadlines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and colleagues.
- Support the Division in meeting its business plan and budget objectives.
SKILLS
- Demonstrates high integrity and expertise in navigating a regulated environment
- Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
EXPECTATIONS
- Dedicated to continuous professional development (CPD) and achieving industry qualifications.
EXPERIENCE
- At least 5 years of experience as a Client Adviser.
- Extensive experience in managing client relationships effectively.
