Lawes Consulting Group are working exclusively with a Commercial Insurance Broker based in Warwickshire. The company has been trading for over 50 years and has a proven track record of delivering bespoke insurance arrangements for both commercial businesses and personal lines business. They currently have six office locations around the UK so there is a great opportunity for further career development and career progression if this what you are looking for.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workloads effectively to ensure deadlines are achieved or managed appropriately
• Monitoring industry procedures to fully understand the client’s needs and deliver a compliant solution
• Preparation of presentations to Insurers/use of online portals for new and renewal client
• Fully understand clients’ requirements, to identify cross-sell and up-sell opportunities
• Dealing with Mid Term Adjustments
• Develop skills and knowledge through continual professional development and actively managing your training plan

You

• Excellent communication skills
• Ambition to move into an Account Executive and progress
• The skills to prioritise and organise workload and work to deadlines
• Ability to work as part of a team and form strong relationships with colleagues

• Existing insurance product knowledge, particularly Commercial Combined, Property Owners, Professional Indemnity, Fleet and across all Commercial advantageous but not essential.

Qualification, Experience & Capabilities

• Cert CII Qualification desirable not essential
• Full training to use Acturis software
