Job Title - Commercial Account Advisor
Contract - Permanent
Salary - GBP35,000
Location - Hampshire

The Role:-

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Commercial Account Advisor to join an established, reputable insurance company brokerage. Our client has a very good reputation in the market and would be a great move for someone in their career. Future prospects to become an Account Executive are also possible if you wish to progress to that level. Strong commercial knowledge is required. Someone who has a steady employment history, not necessarily a sales person but someone who can cross sell for other policies as well as new sections on existing policies and Mid-term adjustment requests from existing commercial clients

Duties:-

Account Management to Existing & New client base
Provide adequate levels of service/support to all commercial customers
Monitor, Control and report on own performance in line with targets set
Administrative duties in line with policy serving duties IE Diary, Processing etc.
Good attitude to work and effective relationships with colleagues
Ability to work independently and have sound experience in general commercial lines business
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Understand impact of own role on the success of the company. Continually update job knowledge.
Effective use of company computer systems and basic Microsoft packages.
Uses sound commercial judgement to make decisions and appreciates when decisions need to be referred to others.
Punctual and reliable and supports the company by showing a professional image alwaysMaintaining close contact and promoting good relations with underwriters
Providing data for management reports when required
Obtaining and updating knowledge of insurance and business practice through mediums such as reading insurance journals, insurance websites and training programmes
Attending training courses and seminars

Role Requirements:-

2 Years minimum experience of Commercial markets essential
Computer literate;
Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market;
Good product and technical knowledge;
Ability to work in a team/team player;
Excellent communication, time management, negotiation, presentation and relationship building skills;
Account management skills.
