Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Home based covering the South East
Package: GBP45,000 - GBP50,000 + Package (OTE GBP55,000 - GBP60,000)
Type: Permanent

Job Purpose
To develop growth and income from the database of agents.
To participate in managing the companys overall performance and adherence to corporate standards.

Operational
Expansion of the Agency Network
Plan the expansion of the agency network by identifying potential Agents, this includes: -
1)Existing contacts
2)Researching the current market place Recruitment of New Agents
Market products and Services to potential agents, this includes: -
1)Arrange and conduct meetings
2)Perform sales presentations which highlight the benefits of its services.
Extract key information from potential brokers on the nature of their existing business, their turnover and any other information which is relevant.
Report to the Board and Managers on the progress of agent visits and issue Broker Visit Reports in a timely manner.
Design, maintain and distribute agency application forms and assist agents in their completion
Liaise with the Agency Department and ensure a smooth and prompt application process.

Relationship Management
Maintain contact with agents throughout the application process and act as a referral point for any issues that arise, liaising with the Agency Department to ensure these are promptly resolved.
Act as a point of contact for Agents in relation to any ongoing issues regarding service or product range
Arrange regular periodic meetings with key accounts and obtain feedback on products, website and service in general. Report to the Board and Managers issuing Broker Visit reports.
Regularly promote, through sales demonstration of the system, new products and schemes with all sales staff of existing and new agents visits.
Identify areas of growth with Agents and, where applicable, set up schemes to target this growth.
Act as the face, liaising regularly with agents via meetings, telephone and e-mail and maintain a close, professional relationship between its staff and the agents and their staff.

Marketing
Offer input into the design and distribution of marketing literature, this includes:
1)Leaflets/Mail shot
2)Bullets (via e-mail)
3)Website design
4)Other
Keep abreast of competition in the market and ensure the Board and Managers remain fully informed.
Discuss commission rates with agents to ensure our products and services remain attractive to agents yet profitable
