One of the UKs leading and most progressive independent insurance broking firms is looking to foster an expanding presence in the North West - its fair to say the business is stronger in other parts of the UK and a client facing leader with a strong track record is required to drive things forward.

The Company

A top 100 UK broking firm, with multiple offices across the UK and a superb reputation for commerciality and professionalism.
The business is amongst the markets most progressive, with serious financial results allowing further investment.
Whilst the North West hasnt been an area of focus, there is a client base to be expanded upon and a real opportunity with the backing of this business.

The Role

This opportunity isnt for the faint hearted, youll have the financial and commercial support of a growing business and a hands-on senior management team, but the buck really will stop with you with regards to regional growth.
That isnt to say its sink or swim - the business is pragmatic and appreciates that there must be an incubation period, ideally theyd like an experienced individual with the ability to sustainable grow a client base and team in the area in the medium term.
Finer details of the role will be driven by the incoming individual and the plan they create to make this a success, but essential elements will be recruitment and growth of a team, the acquisition and retention of clients, a solid marketing plan and ongoing development.

You

Your track record will demonstrate a mix of client facing and commercial achievement - probably from a sales background and certainly detailing account and team growth.
Youll be a driven individual who believes they have the ability to create and nurture something special in return for strong financial and professional rewards.
Commercial insurance broking experience is essential.
ACII qualification, or work towards is advantageous, although not essential.
