My Client a major Lloyds Insurance Broker Based in London are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst Manager.

The Role - Data Analyst Manager
You will lead our Data Analyst team and leverage our unique data warehouse and real-time data capture capabilities to build modern solutions to deliver data analytics to both our internal Underwriting and Claims teams as well as our clients and the London and Company Insurance Markets.
As a Data Analyst you must have a passion for data, accuracy and efficiency. This varied role is based within the Information Technology department and will involve the development of new visualisations, dashboards and reports to supply statistical data including, premiums, claims, loss ratios, rates, aggregate exposure and KPIs.

Assistant Data Analyst main responsibilities:

Working with the business units to gather requirements for developing new reports and dashboards to run from the company's internal and external websites and the main broking system.
Assisting in the timely and accurate compilation of monthly regular reports for internal and external stakeholders, optimising reports where possible.
Work alongside the Software Development team to extend the data warehouse for future analytical requirements.
Liaising with the Underwriting, Broking and Claims handling teams to ensure all their reporting needs are met. You will be required to support the teams by providing useful insights and analysis on an ad-hoc basis.
Recommending emerging technologies to ensure solutions remain best of breed.

Skills and Experience /Qualifications

Minimum 5 years experience in Data Analytics within London or Company Insurance Market (broking or syndicates).
Degree with numerical/computing components or graduate calibre with strong experience.
Excellent organisational skills and a track record of managing a team.
Ability to develop new ideas into structured, deliverable proposals, including ability to meet deadlines.
Analytical mind with problem solving capabilities.
Detail orientated.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong SQL and data manipulation skills in Microsoft SQL Server including SSRS.
Knowledge of data warehouse principles.
Strong Tableau or relevant Business Intelligence presentation layer tool experience (QlikView, Domo or Microsoft Power BI).
Interpersonal, team building, written and verbal communication skills required.
Predictive Analytics, Data Mining and experience in building Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning models to aid the forecasting of results desirable.
