Job Title: Broking Manager - Corporate Insurance

One of the Midlands most respected corporate broking firms is looking for an experienced professional to join as Broking Manager - the role is managing a team of established handlers/brokers as well as working with senior management on the regional placement and market strategy and implementation.

Remuneration here is amongst the strongest in the region, in line with experience and knowledge.

The Role

You will manage a team of experienced broking professionals, this isnt a case of micro-management but more a matter of work allocation within the corporate team, providing a point of reference and signoff whilst working with the board on all elements of MI and market/placement strategy.
Youll also own a caseload of complex risks, servicing and advising your clients on all aspects of their insurance programme.
Your team will work with corporate cases including a number of internationals, all paying cGBP5k-GBP75k fee and turning over GBP200m+.
The key to the role is client service, naturally there is a commercial element, but the ethos is that this takes care of itself if clients are offered the right level of advice and service.

You will be an experienced broker, comfortable servicing and placing complex, corporate level risks and able to confidently negotiate with both clients and the insurer market.
You will preferably had some exposure to managing a team of people, or at the very least demonstrate the skills required to make the step into leadership.
CII qualifications are strongly preferred.
