Job title: Management Liability Underwriter

Salary: £80,000

Location: London – Hybrid : 3 days in office/2 From home 

Reports into : Practice Leader

Purpose of role: 

This is your opportunity to join our client on their journey to grow their portfolio and to deliver to their existing clients, whilst exploring new distribution channels, and new technologies that allow them to improve their services and innovate their offering. You will be part of a small friendly team who are working towards a team target not personal targets.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide perspective and innovation in developing our clients’ appetite and managing their portfolio.
• Lead and develop close relationships with their partner brokers and clients.
• Lead underwriting & sales initiatives to grow the portfolio.
• Coaching and training of more junior colleagues.

Experience and personality: 

• Excellent sales skills and an insatiable appetite to grow the portfolio
• Decisive in nature, displaying good judgement in decisions and taking accountability
• A great communicator who can work with people at all levels, and are just as comfortable with clients and leaders in the industry as they are with their own team.
• 3 years management liability or D&O exposure essential.
