    Job Title – Commercial Account Handler

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £42,000

    Location – Hampshire


    ROLE

    We are seeking a knowledgeable and diligent Commercial Account Handler to join our team. As a Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing commercial accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of insurance products and regulations.


    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Serve as the main point of contact for commercial clients, addressing inquiries and providing accurate information.
    • Analyse and assess client’s insurance needs to recommend appropriate products and coverage options.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring retention and growth of the business.
    • Prepare and process policy documents, endorsements, and other administrative tasks with precision and efficiency.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market changes to provide informed recommendations to clients.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Proven experience in commercial account handling within the insurance industry.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
    • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverage options, and underwriting principles.
    • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail to handle multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
    • Proficiency in relevant software systems and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

    DAY-TO-DAY

    • Communicating with commercial clients to address their insurance needs and provide personalised solutions.
    • Collaborating with the sales team to strategise and execute plans for client retention and business growth.
    • Processing policy documents, endorsements, and other administrative tasks accurately and efficiently.
    • Staying informed about industry trends, regulations, and market changes to provide sound advice to clients.
