Job title: Management Liability Underwriter

Salary: £65,000 per annum 

Location:  London 3 days a week Tues, Wed and Thurs

PURPOSE OF ROLE 

We are currently working with a leading client of ours who due to growth are recruiting for a Management Liability Underwriter to join their team in London.

Our client is open to individuals from a Broking background who are looking to transition into Underwriting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Bring fresh ideas and innovation to shape our client’s appetite and manage their portfolio effectively
• Build and nurture strong relationships with partner brokers and clients
• Lead underwriting and sales initiatives to expand the portfolio
• Provide coaching and training to junior team members
• Work on SME to Mid-Market accounts

SKILLS 

• Strong analytical and decision-making skills
• Clear and confident communication
• Ability to build and maintain broker and client relationships
• Understanding of financial data and risk assessment
• Organised and efficient in managing multiple tasks
• Confident decision-maker with sound judgment and accountability

EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE 

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Management Liability (ML) or Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance
• Strong understanding of insurance regulations and market trends
• Proven sales ability with a strong drive to grow the portfolio
