    Job title: Real Estate Account Handler

    Salary: £40,000 (DOE)

    Location: London


    PURPOSE OF ROLE 

    We are representing an award-winning Property Team in the insurance sector, currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual to join their team. This is an opportunity to contribute to tailored insurance solutions for property owners, managers, and tenants, within a supportive and client-focused work environment. 


    RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Build and maintain effective client relationships
    • Assist in providing customized insurance solutions
    • Negotiate with insurers to achieve the best terms and coverage
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
    • Work alongside Account Executives to ensure efficient service delivery 

    EXPERIENCE 

    Essential 

    • Previous experience in an account handling role within the insurance industry
    • Knowledge of commercial insurance products and markets
    • Familiarity with insurance platforms and client management systems
    • In-depth understanding of FCA regulations and compliance requirements

    Desirable 

    • ACII qualification or a willingness to pursue it
    • Experience with Acturis or similar systems 

    DAY-TO-DAY 

    • Respond to client inquiries in a timely and professional manner
    • Accurately process new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations
    • Collaborate with insurers to obtain the best terms for clients
    • Support and mentor less experienced team members

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • High attention to detail
    • Proactive and solution-driven approach
    • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
