    Job title: Claims Handler

    Salary: £32,000

    PURPOSE OF ROLE 

    Join a leading global insurance company in a fast-paced, supportive environment. As a Claims Handler, you will manage casualty claims, deliver exceptional customer service, ensure fair settlements, and collaborate with clients and stakeholders to achieve the best outcomes.


    EXPERIENCE 

    • Previous experience in claims handling is essential (casualty claims experience is a bonus).
    • A background in the insurance or financial services sector is preferred.
    • Proven track record in a customer-facing role, with strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

    SKILLS 

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to assess liability and claim values.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new IT systems.
    • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer care, even in challenging situations.

    DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES 

    • Assessing and processing a range of claims, ensuring accuracy and fairness.
    • Negotiating settlements and handling complaints professionally.
    • Liaising with stakeholders and clients to investigate claims thoroughly.
    • Participating in audits and review meetings to ensure compliance and quality.
    • Providing a seamless and professional claims service while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
