Job title: Senior Commercial Account Handler
Salary: £40,000
Location: Warwickshire
PURPOSE OF ROLE
Our client is looking for the right professional to fill an important role, and we’re here to help them find you.
As a Senior Commercial Account Handler you will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with tailored solutions. You will provide expert advice on a range of insurance policies, guiding clients through coverage options and securing the best possible terms. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting business growth within a dynamic brokerage, fostering strong relationships with clients and insurers to drive long-term success.
EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience in Commercial Account Handling
- Strong knowledge of General Commercial and Package Policies
- Acturis proficiency preferred
- Experience with mid-market and larger accounts
QUALIFICATIONS
- Cert CII qualification (or working towards it) is a plus
SKILLS
- Strong communication and relationship-building
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise tasks
- Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills
- Proficiency in Acturis and broking platforms
- Proactive and client-focused approach
DAY TO DAY
- Manage client portfolios and ensure their needs are met
- Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and new business
- Negotiate with insurers for best terms and coverage
- Ensure all documentation is accurate and compliant
- Support Account Executives with client servicing
- Maintain excellent customer service and relationships
- Stay updated on industry trends and developments
