Account Executive

Job title: Commercial Account Executive

Salary: £45,000 DOE

Location: Manchester – Hybrid

PURPOSE OF ROLE 

To join an established Insurance independent broker in Lancashire to build up and maintain a commercial book of business with support from the Account Handling team.

EXPERIENCE 

• 5+ years’ experience handling most aspects of Commercial Insurance
• An excellent knowledge of the UK general Insurance market
• Qualified by examination an advantage but not essential with a proven track record
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and maintain those relationships
• Good existing relationships, although a proven Commercial Insurance sales track record is always considered. Where appropriate an existing bank of business to migrate either immediately or at the end of a covenant period would be an advantage.
• A full UK driving licence.

SKILLS 

• Cert CII Qualified or a willingness to work towards this
• Strong organisational skills
• Acturis experience
• Great communicator and team player

DAY-TO-DAY 

• Ability to generate new leads and win new business
• Maintain a book of long-term existing clients
• Working to targets and keen eye for attention to detail
