PI Underwriting Manager

Job Title – Underwriting Manager – Professional Indemnity

A highly regarded name in the market are seeking an experienced Underwriting Manager to manage their Professional Indemnity book.

This is a technical management role in charge of developing new underwriting strategies, reviewing risk selection and policy pricing.

Responsibilities include:

• Overseeing the running of both Traditional and Misc. PI
• Taking the correct measures to ensure growth and profitability of the accounts
• Work with other areas of the business including pricing teams, underwriters and actuaries
• Use MI data to identify and issues/changes that need making 
• Act as key member of the senior management team
• Policy wording and underwriting guide maintenance 

Requirements:

• Experienced PI Underwriter; ideally with management/strategic experience
• Good understanding of the PI insurance market
• Results driven individual who shows drive and desire to improve
