Contract – Permanent 

Salary – £50k – £60k + benefits

A highly regarded name in the market are seeking an experienced commercial underwriter to join their Bristol office as a Senior Underwriter and Team Leader.

This role will be responsible for underwriting various commercial cases both on a new and existing business basis whilst leading a team of local underwriters.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage, coach and develop a team of underwriters to ensure profitable growth in the region
• Underwriter various commercial lines including property, casualty, combined, fleet and trade on a case-by-case basis
• Generate pipeline with your panel of brokers
• Underwrite more complex cases based on experience and knowledge
• Act as a referral point within the team
• Grow and develop lasting relationships with brokers and third parties within the region

Requirements:

• Experienced Commercial Underwriter
• Good understanding of the commercial insurance market
• Excellent communication skills
