Our clients Global Risk Claims team are now looking to recruit a Property / Casualty Liability Claims Handler to join a dynamic and expanding team. The successful candidate will have solid experience of claims in this Class of Business and should be looking to make that next step in their career.

Role Responsibilities

• You will be handling a variety of claims emanating from around the World and managing your own allocated portfolio of accounts.
• Your portfolio will consist of open market and binder business on a wholesale basis. There may be a combination of direct and some re-insurance accounts.
• You will be handling claims from first advice to final settlement, to include setting up first advice, processing and managing subsequent movements on internal claims systems / ECF / Class.
• You will be required to meet the agreed Service Standards, volumes and performance levels in line with the Key Performance Indicators and handle claims efficiently in proactive manner including the physical and/or electronic broking, negotiations, management of claims and the payment process.
• For major Clients you will be responsible for maintaining the claims relationship, including regular calls, and provision of claims reports and management of Insurers.
• You will be reporting to the Team Leader and providing support and assistance to the Claims Advocate on large; contentious or complex losses including CAT events.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years Property / Casualty Liability claims experience.
• Proficient in using the London market systems e.g. ECF, CLASS.
• ACII or working towards would be a distinct advantage.
• Display Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking influencing and negotiation skills.
• Expert knowledge of policy coverage and associated benefits and exclusions.
• Excellent use of standard Microsoft applications.
