    Job Title – HNW Business Development Manager

    Contract – Permanent 

    Salary –  £70,000

    Job Purpose: 

     

    Lead, champion and manage the High Net Worth office team to ensure that it delivers high performance in all business areas, including the delivery of maximum profitable new business growth, through the compliant sale of the company’s Bespoke High Net Worth products via direct sales, developing target area potential with effective customer relationships.

     

     

    Job Responsibilities: 

     

    • Plan, lead, delegate and deliver strategically aligned sales and marketing plans for the High Net Worth Office, to achieve growth, profitability, product targets, and develop local market place potential, in line budgets, compliance and regulatory standards.
    • Recruit, lead, develop and motivate a competent team capable of achieving high performance targets and goals, to resource the delivery of quality advice, sales targets, business objectives and provide required coverage for the High Net Worth Office.
    • Build and maintain effective relationships with field sales teams, Regional Service Centre teams and Head Office departments, to champion and establish the High Net Worth office as a dynamic high performing team and profitable provider of insurance services to its target customer.
    • Lead, coordinate and monitor an effective and efficient Branch to meet the requirements of policy servicing and account processing, including underwriting, claims (delegated claims), premium collection, credit control, money laundering, to required business standards and targets.
    • Monitor, review, and report on Bespoke personal lines sales and campaigns to ensure alignment with company standards and objectives and take appropriate action to maximise customer retention and satisfaction.
    • Contribute to the development, piloting and/or introduction of new initiatives, processes and systems to established requirements, timescales and quality standards.
    • Manage, maintain, monitor and report on the requirements and standards of our regulators, ensuring protection of the interests of the customer and taking action as required.
    • Deliver short term / one-off projects and activities as required by and to the standards and outcomes agreed with Line Managers.

     

    Experience & Knowledge:

     

    • Experience of achievement of face-to-face sales in a targeted environment.
    • Experience of meeting Training and Competence requirements.
    • Knowledge of High Net Worth insurance products.
    • Regulated Financial Services background (desirable).
    • Experience of operational sales and people management (desirable).
