Senior Full Stack Web Developer

London/ WFH or Fully remote

£70,000 – £85,000 + Package

This role can be home based or fully remote but you need to come into the Central London office once or twice a month.

Our client is an award-winning technology software consultancy which is used globally within the Financial Services and Insurance sectors.

They have offices across London and New York, the business offers fully hosted solutions to some of the largest insurance companies around the world.

The client is looking for a skilled Full Stack C#/JavaScript Developer who is focused on delivering high-quality software to tight deadlines. Working in the insurance field, closely with the actuarial team, you will be delivering bespoke solutions in a complex problem space. You should be comfortable working in a delivery-focused environment. If you are an excellent communicator and self-motivated individual, this is a great opportunity for you to build outstanding software.

About the role

We expect you to play a significant role in the team, being actively involved in every step of the software development process. You will be working closely with the product owner, actuarial and testing teams to understand the requirements and build software solutions. Any input into improving the software architecture and the use of design patterns will be appreciated. The role is focused primarily on the full stack development using Angular, C# and SQL, however, you will be exposed to all aspects of the software development lifecycle and we expect you to be familiar with them.

Essential Skills and Experience

• Angular (11+) with TypeScript
• HTML 5, CSS 3, SASS
• Full stack C# web development; .NET 5, .NET Core and / or .NET Framework 4.5 onwards
• ASP.NET Web API
• SQL, ideally Microsoft SQL Server 2019 (T-SQL, stored procedures)
• SOLID Principles
• Git with GitFlow, Microsoft Visual Studio 2019

• Dapper / Entity Framework Core (5)
