About the role
The insurance industry relies on a rich set of tools for predictive analytics and risk management. Actuaries build models that process vast amounts of data. There is an urgent need for software that can run these models fast enough so that they can be effectively used in real-time decision making.
A game-changing platform that has been built from the ground up with usability and performance in mind allows users to express their calculations in a very natural way, and calculations that used to run overnight with other software can now be run in minutes.
We offer the potential to work on a new, innovative product with a dynamic atmosphere. In turn, you will benefit from the security of a large organisation, together with the dynamism of a start-up environment.
In terms of technology, we offer the chance to work across a broad modern stack, including:

- High-performance native code in C++
