Job Title – Liability Underwriter

Contract – Permanent 

Salary – £30,000 – £35,000

Location – Wolverhampton

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Underwriting, Commercial)

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking a Liability Underwriter to join their Leeds underwriting team.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwriting renewals and MTA’s in line with authority
• Handle broker queries in relation to cases
• Ensure renewal terms are issued to brokers in a timely manner
• Work with insurers on cases outside of your authority
• Ensure broker relationships are maintained and developed

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial underwriting is essential – ideally liability or contractors risks
• Good understanding of the commercial insurance market
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
