Job Title – Claims Handler

Contract – Permanent 

Salary – £25,000 – £30,000

Location – York or Halifax – Flexible home working available

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Claims, Commercial)

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking an experienced claims handler to join their face paced claims team dealing with various property and liability cases.

Responsibilities include:

• Handling claims on a ‘cradle to grave’ basis across various products including property & liability
• Handle broker and client queries in relation to claims
• Ensure claims are managed in line with company procedure
• Keep insurers and clients up to date and informed
• Produce claims reports/MI when required

Requirements:

• Experience in commercial claims handling is essential – ideally liability or property risks
• Good understanding of insurance claims procedures
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
