Job Title – Underwriter – Motor Fleet

Contract – Permanent 

Salary – £30,000 – £35,000

Location – Manchester – Flexible working is available

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking an experienced Fleet Underwriter to join their Manchester office, dealing with mid-market cases on a new or existing business basis.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwrite Fleet business across the mid-market area
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers across the region
• Offer underwriting support where needed
• Depending on experience you may be called upon as a branch referral point for larger, more complex risks
• Assist lower level underwriters on a technical basis

Requirements:

• Fleet underwriting experience is essential
• Good understanding of mid-market level cases
• Excellent negotiation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
