Job Title: Delegated Authority Credit Controller
Salary – Up to £45,000
Location – London
Main Purpose of Job:
To assist the Credit Control Team in areas relating to the collection, control and review of aged debt in respect of Delegated Authority premium written and due to the syndicate, and to support the Credit Control Team in areas specifically relating to premium accounting/reconciliations and data cleansing activities.
Key Tasks and Performance Measures
- To create reporting on Delegated Authority and procedures for the credit control function.
- Reviewing of aged insurance debtors on Delegated Authority business and investigate and chase accordingly.
- Calculating adjustments to EPI via endorsements / additional premium / return premium documentation.
- Review of underlying policy documentation.
- Investigate discrepancies and inaccuracies in data, amending data records as required.
- Collating information/documentation from brokers and underwriting staff to assist in the monitoring & collection of premium.
- Collaborating with syndicate support, Xchanging, brokers and underwriting staff to resolve credit control or technical queries on a timely basis.
- Ensure overdue amounts are followed up and escalated to management, where necessary.
- Assisting with the maintenance of various credit control systems and spreadsheets.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly Management Information metric reports.
- Adhere to all internal and regulatory requirements
- Ad hoc duties, as required.

Key Technical Skills/Knowledge/Professional Qualifications Required:
- Experience within the Lloyds syndicate or Lloyds broker market
- Strong technical skills and ability to communicate to various audiences (brokers, internal and underwriters).
- Experience in credit control function within the Lloyds market
- Good knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office
