Job Title – Senior Claims Handler
Contract – Permanent
Salary – £35,000 – £40,000

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking a Senior Claims Handler to join one of their specialist claims team as the “lead”. The role is responsible for handling various specialist claims, coaching and managing other members of the team and maintaining broker and vendor relationships
Responsibilities include:
- As the “lead” within the team you will act as a referral point for more complex claims
- Take responsibility for the mentoring and development of the other team members
- Work closely with the Head of Claims and the underwriting teams
- Manage and maintain broker and vendor relationships both over the phone and face to face
- Act as the face of this specialist team whilst working closely with other teams
- Look into MI/Data and be able to understand and pass on trend information
Requirements:
- Commercial claims handling experience/litigation experience is essential
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent management skills
- Excellent organisation skills
- Excellent relationship management
- Excellent communication skills
