About the role

We are looking for candidates to join our clients team and enhance their General Insurance, Capital Model as well as building and developing bespoke solutions. As a key member of team you will play a vital role in meeting the expectations of our clients through leading and managing teams and sub-teams who are delivering high quality cutting-edge solutions and projects. You will work in an innovative, supportive and buzzing atmosphere in the heart of London.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced practitioner to join a collaborative, friendly, dynamic working environment, to work with clients to meet their capital modelling needs.

This role will encompass a wide variety of work. Initially the successful applicant can expect to be involved with the following:

• Capital model development. This will involve managing and overseeing development work by liaising with clients to gather business requirements, designing, implementing and reviewing the solution.
• Sales support. Identifying and pursuing opportunities and supporting the sales process.

As a dynamic, rapidly-growing company there are many opportunities for career advancement. The role is primarily office based although some homeworking will be necessary due to the current COVID related restrictions. In addition, attendance at our clients’ offices will be required on occasion for project meetings and/or project delivery tasks.

Candidate Profile

Essential Technical Skills:

We are looking for applicants who are technically strong at capital modelling who can collaborate with our team and our clients to deliver modelling solutions. The right candidate will have significant experience in:

• Technical knowledge of capital modelling techniques;
• Experience at coding and developing modelling solutions;
• Experience leading and managing development projects and/or teams;
• Academic experience to degree level with a minimum of a 2:1 or equivalent qualification in a numerate, scientific or IT related discipline.

Consulting skills: The right candidate will be:

• A self-motivated team player that works collaboratively and makes things happen;
• Self-starter who is adaptable in times of change and comfortable with uncertainty;
• Strong organisational skills to effectively prioritise and execute tasks;
• Good at building relationships and strong communication skills both verbal and written.
