Job Title: Legal Expenses Claims Handler
Salary: £30,000

Overview
A big name in the industry are seeking an experienced claims handler to join their specialist legal expenses team. The role is responsible for the handling a caseload of BTE legal claims on a cradle to grave basis in an efficient, professional manner.
Duties and Accountabilities
- Provide an efficient claims handling services to all customers by responding to legal expenses claims using excellent written and call handling skills
- Handle claims on a cradle to grave basis, which involves investigating the validity of a claim and, where a claim is accepted, maintaining a regular review of its validity.
- Regularly liaise with solicitors, barristers, accountants, insurance brokers, and directly with policyholders.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
- Exceptional communication skills are required, together with a skill for evaluating legal documents.
- Excellent time management skills, in order to adhere to demanding service level standards and maintain an active case load.
- Previous claims handling experience, preferably in Legal Expenses Insurance
- Previous Insurance experience will be preferable
- Good understanding of the legal industry
