Job Title – General Insurance Broker

Contract – Permanent

Salary –  £35,000 – £40,000

Location – Essex

About the Role:

An established and professional insurance broker focussing on the Insurance needs of Commercial and High Net Worth individuals are seeking an experienced Insurance Broker. Progressive role leading to management responsibility servicing the Owners varied book of business.

Duties:

• General Insurance Broker (including Property / Liability / Professional Indemnity / Fleet /Commercial Insurance package covers and High Net Worth Household).
• Progressive role leading to management responsibilities

Role Requirements:

• Minimum Experience 3 years in a commercial insurance broking environment. Technical ability, IT and compliance awareness, negotiation skills and a good level of communication would be required for this role
• Computer literate
• Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market
• Good product and technical knowledge
• Ability to work in a team/team player
• Excellent communication time management negotiation presentation and relationship building skills
• Self-motivated and resilient
• Account campaign management skills
• CII qualification preferred but not essential
