Job Title – Commercial Underwriter

Contract – Permanent 

Salary – £25,000 – £35,000 + competitive package offering

Location – Stratford-upon-Avon

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Underwriting, Commercial)

A highly regarded name in the market are seeking Commercial Underwriters to become part of their nationwide underwriting team.

This role will be responsible for underwriting various commercial cases both on a new and existing business basis whilst ensuring you develop and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with a team of underwriters to ensure profitable growth in the region
• Underwriter various commercial lines including property, casualty, combined, fleet and trade
• Generate pipeline with your panel of brokers
• Underwrite more complex cases based on experience and knowledge
• Act as a referral point within the team (depending on Underwriting level)
• Grow and develop lasting relationships with brokers and third parties within the region

Requirements:

• Experienced Commercial Underwriter
• Good understanding of the commercial insurance market
• Excellent communication skills
