Broker Development Manager

Job Title – Broker Development Manager

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £50,000 – £60,000

Location –  West Midlands Region

Industry – Insurance (Development, Commercial Insurance, Broker)

A highly regarded insurer is seeking a Broker Development Manager to join their ever growing Midlands region.

The role will be responsible for the performance (both new and existing) of the brokers and strategic partners within the region.

Responsibilities include:

• Manage and develop existing relationships within the region to ensure growth
• Develop and maintain new relationships across the region
• Work with the underwriting teams to resolve any broker issues
• Monitor performance within the region
• Work with brokers/strategic partners on planning and strategy 
• Work alongside the marketing team to ensure a strong regional presence
• Keeping up to date with the changes in the market/region to ensure the company has a clear view
• Organise and attend broker events 

Requirements:

• Experienced development manager within the commercial insurance sector
• Have a good understanding of the commercial market
• Excellent account management & development skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills
