Job Title – Regional Operations Manager – (Claims & Adjusting)
Contract – Permanent
Salary – £65,000
Location – Regional UK
Reporting to the London Market Regional Manager, you’ll be leading and managing a dedicated team of circa 11 Property Adjusters within your region. You’ll be managing the day to day operation of the team to ensure productivity, people performance, and client service requirements as well as handling a small commercial and domestic claim caseload. The role will be predominately remotely based, although UK travel may be required to attend meetings
You’ll develop, motivate and performance manage our Field Team to ensure maximum engagement and operational effectiveness in partnership with managing the client relationship effectively by creating and implementing a clear directive strategy and setting objectives. This will also include managing resources to ensue staffing levels are adequate and any associated costs the recruitment and development.
By creating and utilising quantitative and qualitative MI alongside any audit information, you’ll monitor and drive standards of performance within the team, ensuing the team is fully compliant with Company policy and procedure and external regulatory requirements and develop and manage individual personal development plans to enhance individual and team performance.
You’ll also contribute to the operational plan for the London Market General Property Team through effective planning and organisation of personal and team’s workload, ensuring productivity targets are achieved and act as role model for the team by demonstrating and clearly communicating the core values and vision of the London Market General Property Team
You’ll be a natural leader, accustomed to achieving high standards, leading by example and motivating your team to ensure a first class customer service is consistently delivered as well as:
- Previous experience in leading and managing a remote field based team within Loss Adjusting, Insurance or Financial Services sectors
- Ideally hold an Insurance qualification desirable e.g. Dip CII, ACII, CILA or with a desire to become qualified
- An understanding of the Insurance market and claims process, FSA procedures, regulatory requirements and extensive knowledge and understanding of standard policy terms and market variations.
- Experience in developing and managing individual Personal Development Plans to enhance individual and team performance
- Demonstrable experience in being customer champion by monitoring standards of team performance seeking feedback to enhance the customer journey
- Excellent organisation skills to deliver high standards – time, cost, quality, efficiency and value
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate in a concise and open manner
- Excellent customer service / client relation skills to manage relationships and provide effective dispute resolution
- Strong financial literacy skills to utilise financial reporting information and insurance performance measures in the management of claims.
- Proven efficiency in IT applications (Prime, Lotus Notes, MS Word, MS Excel
- Hold a full. UK driving licence
