    Role title: Bordereaux and Delegated Authority Analyst

    Location: London

    Salary: Circa £32,500

     


    Purpose of the Job:

     

    To support Bordereaux and Delegated Authority activities in the processing of risk, premium and claims bordereaux and ensure that Coverholders (and other third parties) and binding authorities are managed in line with syndicate procedures, regulatory requirements, and best practice.

     


    Principal Accountabilities:

     

    Day to day responsibility for:

    • Manage DCOM – Checking to ensure approving new registrations within a timely manor
    • Follow up with Third Parties to ensure signing messages are proactively managed.
    • Processing and approving of renewal binders to ensure best practice are followed using internal workflow systems.
    • Liaising with underwriting and claims teams, as well as brokers and coverholders, to resolve queries and errors on bordereaux data
    • Processing Risk, Premium and claims bordereaux into bordereaux management system.
    • Responsibility for monitoring annual Coverholder and Broker compliance activities.
    • Producing operational reporting and attend meetings when necessary
    • Operational reporting
    • Assistance with projects and adhoc activities as necessary

     


    Outsourced Service Delivery in respect of the below:

    • Support Offshore productivity for risk, premium, claims and ELTO bordereaux using company & third-party systems.
    • Ensure quality checks are undertaken.
    • Monitoring of the aging and escalation of queries.
    • Assist in Identifying potential or actual issues that may adversely affect the business.
    • Ensure Broker and Coverholder reviews are issued and completed within SLA.
    • Support offshore in Coverholder queries.

     


    Education, Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

     

    Education/Qualifications:

    • Educated to GCSE or above.

     

    Skills

    • Communion skills – both verbal and written.
    • Can manage own tasks effectively.
    • Good computer and analytical skills including Microsoft Office.
    • Good attention to detail.
    • Good organisational and time management skills, ability to prioritize sensibly and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work well within a team environment.
