Commercial Credit Underwriter

Job Title – Commercial Credit Underwriter
Contract – Permanent
Salary – GBP20,000 – GBP35,000
Location – London
Industry – (Finance, Credit, Loan, Underwriter)

Role & Duties:-

Responsible for the risk assessment and decisioning of new and repeat business applications submitted to our client and carrying out or instructing, where necessary, any additional searches, investigations or site inspections, in order to reduce / mitigate, wherever practicable, to our clients exposure to lending risk.

Responsibilities:-

Underwriting and risk assessment of new and repeat business
Liaison with merchants from opportunity to funding
Completion of on-site inspections for larger transactions
Presentation to senior management risk committee of larger transactions
To represent the underwriting team through the wider business
Ongoing portfolio analysis and drive the evolution of our clients risk policy
Providing training & development to the underwriting team

Requirements:-

Credit Underwriting Experience.
