Job title: E&O Claims Adjuster – (E&O/PI/FL))
Location: London (Hybrid) 2 Days Per Week Office Based
Salary: £60,000

Purpose of the role
- We are currently seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster/Handler to join our clients well-established and market leading Errors and Omissions Team to perform claims handling and claims related administration.
- This position would be ideal for someone with experience, seeking a new challenge within a dynamic and high performing syndicate
Duties and accountabilities
- Perform claims adjusting in accordance with claims commitment, philosophy and procedures.
- Handle specific class of business, US and International Errors and Omissions, claims for which claims authority has been agreed with the Head of Claims.
- Ensure the Syndicate meets internal and external standards for claims handling and customer service in particular by ensuring ECF and paper file turnaround times are met.
- Manage end to end claims processes through the use of Syndicate systems such as DOCOsoft workflow.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and brokers and third party experts.
- Liaise with underwriters to maintain a valuable flow of information on claims issues and their impact on underwriting and policy interpretation.
- Actively manage loss adjusters and other experts to ensure that claims and expert fees are managed appropriately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong communication and advise the head of department on any relevant claims movements/issues/trends.
- Undertake any other claims related and adhoc tasks/projects as required by the business.
Skills, knowledge and experience
- The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrable claims background within Errors and Omissions is essential.
- Part ACII qualified or working towards ACII.
- Technically sound claims knowledge.
- Working knowledge of London market claims systems (ECF).
- Proficient in Word/Excel and similar applications in order to report on claims information to underwriters and other members of the claims team.
- Team player with a positive and flexible attitude to change and development alongside achieving team objectives.
- Excellent, well-structured written and verbal communication/presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively and accurately to deliver results against tight deadlines.
- Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
