Job Title – Commercial/Motor Broker Claims Handler – Insurance
Contract – Permanent
Salary – £28,000 – £38,000

An opportunity has become available within an Independent Broker for an experienced claims handler to join their Commercial and Motor Claims Team. 

The company:-

• Have been operating in the Birmingham market for over 15 years and one of the last truly independent brokers left in the City
• Prides themselves on superior analytical methodologies to deliver the in-depth and timely information necessary to recommend the best program design and coverage to fit clients specific needs

 The Role:-

• To act as a primary point of contact for clients and establish effective relationships with both clients and insurers offering client-centric claims solutions.
• Advise clients on policy guidelines referring to claims
• Management of client expectations throughout the process
• Liaise with providers regarding individual claims
• Issue claims forms when required to gather the necessary evidence and guidance notes
• Ensure all conversations are recorded files are maintained effectively and all Insurer correspondence is processed
• Ensure activity meets internal Service Level Agreements (SLA)
• Build effective working relationships with clients and Account Managers/Executives to resolve issues and communicate outcomes effective

The candidate:-

• Previous experience working within a claims environment
• Knowledge of Motor claims is a must while commercial is a ideal 
• Customer focused with strong relationship management and account handling skills
• Professional communication and strong organisational and prioritisation skills
• Understanding of working within SLAs with the ability to meet and exceed KPIs
• Effective team player
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
