Job Title – Corporate Account Handler
Contract – Permanent
Salary – GBP35,000- GBP45,000
Location – Bedfordshire
Industry – Insurance Broker (Insurance, Broking, Commercial, Corporate)

The Role:-

We have an exciting new position for a Corporate Account Handler with a leading Independent Insurance Broker based in Bedfordshire.

Responsibilities will include:-

– You will be responsible for managing the daily commercial insurance requirements for a specific portfolio of corporate clients ranging from medium sized enterprises to household name businesses
– The successful candidate will work in conjunction with other members of the senior management team
– A strong ability to build relationships and work with others is a key requirement of the role as there will be a need to link in closely with the Broking team at renewal time and with the Claims team from time to time
– Producing client reports, cover summaries, checking policies and responding to daily insurance queries and questions from clients will be the main features of the handlers day
– Working with multi-million pound portfolios it is vital that the successful candidate can demonstrate a strong technical grasp of insurance as well as productive administration skills

Role Requirements:-

– Minimum of 5 years of corporate commercial broking experience
– Strong communication skills
– Attention to detail
– Client-focused mind-set
– Good IT skills, conversant in Microsoft Office applications
– Good written and verbal communication and telephone skills
– Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
– Minimum level of Insurance Cert CII Qualification with ACII qualification a bonus
