    Job Title – Client Director – (Theatre Insurance)

    Contract – Permanent

    Salary – £70,000

    Location – Home based (1 day a week in London)

     


    Client Director required for a very established insurance brokerage. You will inherit a book of business, but the main aim is to grow the book. The risks covered is made up of mainly theatre, arts and multimedia clients. Covers include Employers & Public Liability, Buildings, Business Interruption, Equipment both at and away from the venue, Cancellation & Non- Appearance, Travel, Personal Accident, Medical Expenses, Charity & Charity Trustees Indemnity/Directors & Officers Liability, Professional Indemnity, Contract Works, Engineering Inspection & Breakdown and Cyber risks. Strong commercial experience required and someone who is a dynamic broker and is keen to grow the business.

     


    Duties:-

    • To build and develop a portfolio of new clients. Manage and maintain a book of existing clients, in line with the Company guidelines in order to achieve financial targets.
    • To provide expert, prompt advice and support to the client base as allocated.
    • Achievement of New Business and Revenue targets.
    • Build an active New Business Pipeline and ensure relevant logs are kept up to date.
    • Actively engage with partners and organisations at all levels and attend events on a regular basis.
    • In conjunction with Director, target, contact and engage with prospects from varying sources and create a strong and robust pipeline
    • Review demands and needs of all customers and advise on appropriate insurers, cover and pricing.
    • Actively discuss additional products cover and services that the client may need and require.
    • Liaise with Marketing on various initiatives on individual and divisional campaigns.
    • Place business in accordance with the Company’s placement strategy.
    • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
    • Keep client files, systems and applications up to date within Company guidelines ensuring all client and insurer contact is recorded on the file.
    • Liaise with other colleagues in Operations, Claims and Accounts to achieve resolution of any issues within agreed timescales.
    • Adhere to all Company and FCA policies and procedures as instructed. Ensure at all times you carry out your duties in line with the ethos of “treating customers fairly”.

     


    Requirements:-

     

    • X3 years commercial insurance experience
    • GCSE Grade C or above in Math’s and English.
    • Achievement of or working toward CII qualification desirable.
    • Previous experience of working in a new business role and to challenging targets.
