Job Title – Commercial Insurance Broker

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £35,000 – £45,000

Location – Essex

Role:-

Experienced Commercial Insurance Broker required for established insurance brokerage based in Essex. The role will be servicing local and national clients. A well-rounded role allowing you to be an Account Handler and Executive working with a mixture of commercial and personal clients. The role also offers a potential line into management in time.

Duties:-

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing client accounts
• Identify cross selling opportunities
• Deal with incoming New Business enquiries
• Generate New Business enquiries by asking existing clients for referrals
• Provide broking and administrative services to clients
• Manage renewal process placing cover on best terms where appropriate in accordance with client’s needs.

Requirements:-

• Seeking an experienced individual with good technical experience in the commercial and personal lines sector who will be able to move into a management position in the next few years. This is a single branch operation with currently 4 staff which is part of a wider group

• Knowledge of General Insurance market and regulatory framework

• Detailed knowledge of a core range of policies to commercial and personal customers
• Problem solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and resolve obstacles
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong relationship and influencing skills are essential to provide focused client insurance solutions
• Relationship building
