Senior Commercial Account Handler

Job Title – Senior Commercial Insurance Broker

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £35,000 – £45,000

Location – Surrey

Role:-

Experienced Commercial Insurance Broker required for established insurance brokerage based in Surrey. The role will be servicing local and national clients. The role is looking after an existing book of commercial clients.

Duties:-

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing client accounts
• Identify cross selling opportunities
• Deal with incoming New Business enquiries
• Generate New Business enquiries by asking existing clients for referrals
• Provide broking and administrative services to clients
• Manage renewal process placing cover on best terms where appropriate in accordance with client’s needs.

Requirements:-

• Seeking an experienced individual with good technical experience in the commercial lines sector

• Knowledge of General Insurance market and regulatory framework

• Detailed knowledge of a core range of policies to commercial customers
• Problem solving and analytical skills to identify the root cause and resolve obstacles
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Strong relationship and influencing skills are essential to provide focused client insurance solutions
• Relationship building
