Development Underwriter

Job Title – Development Underwriter 

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £50,000 – £55,000 + Car + Bonus + Benefits

Location – North West

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Underwriting, New Business, Commercial)

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking a Development Underwriter to join their specialist regional commercial team. You will be responsible for the day to day underwriting of new business cases , managing and developing relationships and ensuring profitability within the region.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwrite various commercial accounts and portfolios 
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers
• Work closely with other areas of the business on large, complex accounts
• Ensuring profitability within the region
• Understanding clients needs on large, complex accounts

Requirements:

• Commercial new business underwriting experience is essential
• Have a good understanding of the commercial market
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
