We are working with one of biggest names within the Professional Indemnity Broking world to assist with finding an Assistant Manager for one of their specialist teams. This is an important hire to the office due to impressive expansion plans and will require an experienced and talented individual. This role would be suitable for either a Professional Indemnity Broker or Underwriter looking to take on more responsibility.

The Role

You will pro-actively assist with managing a team of 4 experienced Brokers, looking after premiums on average between GBP5,000 – GBP30,000.
As part of your role you will be responsible for managing planned and Ad-hoc projects for example this may be systems (Acturis), Work Flow management or Online campaigns.
Responsibility for management duties such as, Coaching, Mentoring, Allocation of work load, Identifying training needs, Absence management and Appraisals.
You will also manage your own case load along with concentrate around manging and leading the team forward.

You

You will be an either an experienced Broker or Underwriter with a broad knowledge of PI insurance
Ideally has experience of leading a team looking after PI or Commercial risk
You will be a confident individual who will be able to lead, motivate a drive the team to achieve its goals set by the wider business.
CII qualification would be advantageous
