Job Title – Underwriting Manager – Personal Lines

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £70,000 – £80,000

Location – West Midlands – Flexible working options are available

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Underwriting, Home, Motor, HNW, Personal Lines)

A highly regarded name in the market is looking to take on an Underwriting Manager to develop and implement their underwriting strategy, policies and procedures for their Personal Lines book.

This is an exciting role for someone with a Personal Lines/HNW background who can use their technical experience to drive the department.

Responsibilities include:

• Review and manage the underwriting strategy
• Oversee the development and implementation of underwriting policies and procedures
• Lead and manage direct reports
• Drive specific Personal Lines/HNW projects 
• Provide expert market and technical insight
• Work collaboratively with other areas of the business 

Requirements:

• HNW/Personal Lines (Home and Motor) experience is essential
• Have a good understanding of the personal lines market
• Strong technical underwriting experience
• Excellent people management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
