Account Handler – Life Science/Tech

Job Title – Life Science Account Handler

Contract – Permanent

Salary –  £40,000 – £55,000 per annum

Location – Remote. 

Industry – Insurance, Broker, Broking, Commercial

An established independent insurance brokerage is seeking a Life Science Account Handler. There is an opportunity to be completely home based. 

This role is working with one of the largest UK Independent brokers. 

About the Role:

• Administer a portfolio of client insurance plans in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures.
• You will be your client’s first point of contact for cover queries, mid-term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issue and many other tasks and projects.
• Office base but home working also considered depending on experience
• Undertake sales activities ensuring delivery of sales and marketing targets
• Working under minimal supervision and be responsible for delivery of own sales and business performance targets
• Identify and deliver appropriate marketing campaigns.

Role Requirements:

• Computer literate
• Knowledge of sales processes within relevant market
• Good product and technical knowledge
• Ability to work in a team/team player
• Excellent communication time management negotiation presentation and relationship building skills
• Self-motivated and resilient
• Account campaign management skills
• CII qualification preferred but not essential
