Senior Underwriter – P&C

Job Title – Senior Underwriter 

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £45,000 – £55,000 + bonus 

Location – Bristol – Hybrid working available

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking an experienced Commercial Underwriter to join their well established underwriting team as a Senior. You will be responsible for the day to day underwriting of cross class commercial cases whilst also being responsible for managing and developing broker accounts, acting as a referral point within the team and dealing with the larger, more complex risks.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwriting mid-market commercial cases
• Develop and maintain relationships with your broker panel 
• Work closely with other members of the underwriting team on large, complex accounts
• Working towards personal and team new business targets
• Host and attend social events for brokers and networks 

Requirements:

• Commercial underwriting experience is essential 
• Have a good understanding of the commercial insurance market
• Ability to deliver financial targets 
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
