Salary – £35,000 – £40,000

A well regarded insurance provider are looking for an experinced underwriter to join thier fast paced underwriting team. The role will involve the underwriting Household, Mid Net Worth Home and Residential Let cases introduced by a panel of brokers, within agreed delegated authority levels.

This is an exciting role for someone with an underwriting background who is looking to join a family run business with huge growth plans.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwriter new and exisiting business in line with underwriting authority levels
• Develop and maintain relationships with brokers and capacity providers
• Support more junior memebers of the team
• Understanding clients needs on complex accounts

Requirements:

• Underwriting experience is essential
• Have a good understanding of the property/home market
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
