Job Title – PI Underwriter 

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £40,000 – £50,000

Location – UK Wide – Flexible working is available

A highly regarded name in the market is seeking an experienced PI underwriter to join their financial lines underwriting team. You will be responsible for the day to day underwriting of PI cases across the UK wide broker panel.

This is an exciting role for someone with a PI background who is looking to join a small but growing and highly engaged team.

Responsibilities include:

• Underwriting PI business on a new and existing business basis
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients and capacity providers
• Work closely with other areas of the business on large, complex accounts
• Growing the teams income through retention and cross/up selling
• Understanding clients needs on large, complex accounts

Requirements:

• Financial lines underwriting experience is essential
• Have a good understanding of the FL market
• Excellent management skills
• Excellent organisation skills
• Excellent relationship management
• Excellent communication skills
