Liability Underwriter

Job Title: Liability Underwriter 

Location: London 

Full/Part Time: Full Time

Salary: up to £125,000 per annum + 25% bonus 

Insurance Industry Sectors: Insurance, Liability, Casualty. 

Lawes Consulting Group are working with a leading insurer who are on the look out for a Liability Underwriter, the role will include working with a range of different territories.

About the Role:

• This opportunity is working with a leading insurer dealing with a range of different territories including North America and Canada.
• Within this position you will work with a strong, reputable highly motivated liability team

underwriting business with the aim to develop opportunities within the general, commercial insurance markets.

• Ability to demonstrate record of successful relationship.
• Solid experience dealing with brokers and clients and underwriting a high level of sum insured portfolio.
• You will have a ‘client first’ mindset and enjoy providing exceptional cover to them.
• Deal with complex international risks.
• Manage referrals from underwriters and re-underwrite complex business as appropriate.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the regional Underwriting strategy for Liability.
