Job Title – Marine & Energy Liability Underwriter

Contract – Permanent

Salary – £100,000 – £120,000 DOE 

Location – London – Hybrid working available

Industry – Insurance (Insurance, Underwriting, London Market, Energy, Marine, Liability)

A highly regarded name in the industry is looking to grow their wider Marine and Energy division and hire a Marine & Energy Liability Underwriter. This is a small specialist team and the role will report directly into the Marine and Energy Liability Line Underwriter.

This is your opportunity to contribute to servicing a large portfolio and help influence and shape our Marine & Energy Liability offering in Lloyd’s.

Responsibilities include:

Underwriter all elements of the Marine & Energy Liability portfolio

Ensure growth and profitability across portfolio

Contribute to the analysis of appetite in all areas

Position yourself as the go-to marking for Marine & Energy Liability in Lloyd’s 

Requirements:

Proven track record of underwriting in the Lloyd’s market

Excellent understanding of Marine & Energy Liability 

Ability to deliver financial targets 

Excellent time and diary management skills

Excellent organisation skills

Excellent relationship management

Excellent communication skills
